What is carl’s list?
carl’s list is a regional online town square and marketplace. People use carl's list to buy, sell, and swap stuff, to announce events, and to promote their products and services.
Why is it called "carl’s list?"
carl’s list has its name partly in homage to craigslist, and partly because the guy who founded it is named Carl. (He spells his name with an upper-case "C," though.)
What are the rules regarding what may be posted on Carl's List?
1) Only actionable items (inquiries, events, opportunities) may be posted.
2) No gross stupidity or smut.
How long do ads stay posted?
Classified ads stay active for thirty days. Events stay posted until the day after the event. Business directory listings are good for one year.
Ads can be renewed by the person who posted it.
How do I edit or delete a post?
You can edit or delete your posts whenever you want. Simply go to "My Account," click on "My Ads" or "My Events," then on "edit" or "delete."
Who may join the Local Business Network?
Our Local Business Network is open to locally-owned, independent businesses.
